Calgary Stampede’s Cowboys Dance Hall Roundup Club-goers with RFID Access Control

Cowboys Dance Hall

Cowboys Dance Hall, the official nightclub of Canada’s Calgary Stampede, adopted Intellitix’s RFID technology to manage fast and secure entry for the first time on July 2nd – 12th 2015.

Event organizers deployed Intellitix’s RFID Access Control solution to enhance the guest experience with smooth and secure multi-level entry into the main nightclub and VIP hospitality suite within the lively country and western Cowboys Dance Hall during the annual Calgary Stampede festivities.

Patrons who purchased a “Chute Pass” RFID card benefited from complimentary cover charge and line bypass twice daily at the main entrance of the hopping nightclub, processed by Intellitix’s handheld readers. Special VIP attendees enjoyed an exclusive hospitality bar and entrance line bypass using “Suite Pass” RFID wristbands. Both card and wristband holders were processed by just a quick tap of their RFID device.

Located at the gate of the Stampede Park, Cowboys Dance Hall continued its annual tradition of bringing the best in Stampede entertainment. The Calgary Stampede, dubbed “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”, combined daily rodeo and death-defying stunt displays, the President Superdog shows, multiple music stages, Midway artistic venues and shopping districts as well as evening entertainment. This year’s evening performances came from the likes of country and western singers Toby Keith and Alan Jackson, rappers Ludacris, Lil Jon and Wiz Khalifa plus a Ruby Rose DJ set.
