Intellitix 2013 RFID Success

Intellitix Road Case

With the year-end in sight, Intellitix is celebrating a record 2013 having broken the 5 million barrier for activated RFID chips, and launched what is now the undisputed most advanced cashless payment system on the market.

Intellitix has worked with three times the number of events in 2013 than it did in 2012, with clients such as Rock in Rio, Coachella, Squamish Valley, Tomorrowland, Splendour in the Grass, Barclaycard British Summer Time, and Bonnaroo.

Along with sporting events such as the Irish Open, and UEFA Champions Festival.

On the brand activation front, the company broke new ground with the world’s largest voting wall, innovative event scoring systems and both Twitter and Facebook fully integrated into all systems.

2013 also saw Intellitix pick up awards for Best RFID Technology at the Event Technology Awards; and Best Technology at the ISEM Awards.

“What a year!” exclaimed CEO Serge Grimaux, when we caught up with him recently. “If 2013 is anything to go by, 2014 looks set to be an absolutely enormous year. With Intellipay the talk of the town right now, and our other RFID technology continuing to make waves, it’s looking like a truly great 12 months ahead!”
