With a mission to empower emerging technology firms to scale rapidly in a globally competitive landscape, the Lazaridis Institute has recognized Intellitix as one of the top 10 Canadian-based enterprises with a high growth trajectory.
A panel of experts comprised of venture capitalists and leading North American technology executives determined the final 10 companies to take part in the institute’s Canadian Scale-Up Program, after evaluating over 100 applications and video interviews. The top companies chosen are each at a key turning point of growth, with a focus on innovative, made-in-Canada technology solutions that solve critical challenges in their respective markets.
Intellitix was the first to introduce RFID technology solutions to the festival scene at Coachella and Le Festival d’été de Québec, providing event organizers with a more secure and faster method of Access Control using cloth wristbands embedded with RFID chips. Since 2011, Intellitix has expanded its technology platform to effectively process digital cashless transactions, enhance sponsor brand activations, and capture real-time customer data for deep audience and operational insight – all through the use of an RFID device. Trusted by over 200 live events across 18 countries, Intellitix is paving the way to greater change in the way event organizers plan and refine their events, while creating memorable customer experiences.
