What is big, pink and sits on its own in a festival field?
Attendees at both Coachella and Stagecoach festivals were able to post Facebook check ins and and photos at custom-built Live Click Stations next to each of the stages, and at the campsite. Intellitix’s RFID wristband technology was deployed throughout both festivals which share the same site in Indio, California.
Across three consecutive weekends close to 250,000 people donned RFID wristbands and experienced Intellitix’s innovative RFID technology, enabling an altogether smoother experience at both Coachella (12-14 April & 19-21 April) and Stagecoach country music festival (26-28 April). Whether for access control across the entire front-of-house, backstage, VIP, catering, parking areas and more, or for communicating on social media, the technology proved as reliable as ever.
Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hot Chip, Sigur Ros, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Moby, Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club were amongst those entertaining the masses at Coachella; whilst country stars Hank Williams Jnr and Lady Antebellum graced the main stage at Stagecoach.
“The weekend was full of those small ‘moments’ that make you love life and music and humanity – and even car camping!” reported Kate Fitzpatrick on Musicfeeds.com.
Intellitix’s RFID technology was first rolled out at Coachella three years ago. “Three years in, we’re thrilled to remain involved in such globally recognized events,” says Intellitix CEO Serge Grimaux.
