RFID Technology at Charity Ball

Intellitix Road Case

Intellitix will tonight (Dec 10) participate in the world’s first charity ball to use RFID as a means of fundraising. Guests at the Charity Ball 2012 at Regiment Armory in New York City will be able to pledge money to charity: water using their RFID wristbands. The pledged amounts will be streamed to a giant screen during a live auction.

The first time that Intellitix RFID technology has been used to raise money in this way, organizers hope to raise US$3.5million from the event in total. In addition to the interactive fundraising taking place at the ball, Intellitix will also be using the RFID wristbands for access control, as well as supplying two Live Click Photo Stations and other social media-enabled equipment to ensure that guests are able to instantly record their evening, sharing the experience online.
