The Slottsfjell Festival is one of the biggest in Norway, and this year featured some of the top artists in the world, including Lykke Li, The Lumineers, The Dropkick Murphys, and many others. Such big names draw big fans – in this case, 25,000 of them. Intellitix’s RFID technology gave the festival organizers the tools they needed to best accommodate those fans, and to help them spread the word about what a great time their fans were having through brand amplification opportunities.
Intellitix’s RFID wristbands got traffic sailing through the gates and enabled the event organizers to track customers’ movements in real-time with an access control system. But that was just the beginning. The wristbands’ embedded RFID tags also allowed festival attendees to check-in on social media sites throughout the venue, vastly expanding the reach of the Slottsfjell brand beyond the festival grounds and into the social media feeds of attendees’ friends, family, and acquaintances.
What’s more, festival attendees were also able to swipe their wristbands to buy drinks, food, and merchandise easily and seamlessly with cashless payment technology.
Intellitix technology enabled ease-of-access, social media compatibility, and simple and secure transactions. This year’s Slottsfjell proved to be a huge success!
