The 7th annual Utah Beer Festival, organized by City Weekly, brought together 10,000 beer lovers to sample from 150 varieties of craft beer and cider from local and national breweries on Saturday, August 27, 2016. In support of the Humane Society of Utah, the festival helped raise thousands of dollars from the event and found safe and loving homes for 15 shelter dogs.
With a focus on elevating guest experiences and improving event operations, City Weekly partnered with Intellitix to deliver a Cashless Payment solution using RFID wristbands, replacing paper beer tokens used in previous years.
