On July 24-26, 2015, the inaugural WayHome Festival took center stage in Oro-Medonte, Ontario with a massive line-up featuring Neil Young, Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Alt-J, Modest Mouse and more. The music and arts festival deployed RFID access control and a multitude of sponsored brand amplification initiatives, delivering a crowd-pleasing experience with WayHome music lovers begging for more!
Intellitix teamed up with Montreal-based digital marketing firm, Human Equation, to elevate WayHome’s brand partnerships in connecting with 45,000 patrons each day through interactive installations.
- SiriusXM: Guests would swipe their RFID-enabled wristbands and vote for their favorite artist while entering into a contest for a one-year free subscription to SiriusXM satellite and online radio.
- Joe Fresh: Guests swiped their wristbands for a chance to win a $500 gift card shopping spree at Joe Fresh retail stores.
- Reebok: Thousands of prizes including Reebok shoes, sunglasses, T-shirts and $500 gift cards were given away to lucky instant winners with a swipe of their wristband.
WayHome festival organizers and sponsors were able to track interactions in real-time and collect user demographic information through a custom-built dashboard.
