Intellitix is very happy to announce the promotion of Justin Moffatt to Head of Festivals for North America

This move further deepens our drive to develop meaningful long-term partnerships with our clients. As our product continues to evolve and spearhead innovation in the event tech sector, we see multi-year partnerships with bold events to be the cornerstone of our business. Broadening the scope of Justin’s work is a sign of our commitment to those goals.

“Our product has evolved far beyond being merely a solution for access control or cashless payment,” Justin explains. “We want our partners to tap into the wealth of data analytics that we offer, and to really benefit from the vast knowledge that our team has accrued from working on the ground at some of the most successful live events in the world.”

Before Intellitix, Justin spent 11 years managing major accounts for some of the most prominent beer brands in the world. Being a relationship-driven industry, Justin quickly established a foundational passion for building long, mutually beneficial relationships between clients and suppliers. In 2014, he founded Toronto-based agency Huckster, which specialized in growing and nurturing craft beer and small-batch spirit brands.

Since joining us in 2015, Justin quickly expanded his scope beyond the food, wine and beer event verticals and into the broader festival space. But despite this new role, he will maintain the core ethos that strong relationships build strong business.

“Food, wine and beer is all about building meaningful, mutual relationships,” he explains, “and I’m really happy to continue building these strong partnerships with support from our incredible team and a product that continues to rise to the evolving challenges and demands of this industry.”
