Intellitix Demystifies RFID with Industry White Paper

Cashless payment and access control specialist Intellitix has launched a brand new whitepaper, aimed at demystifying RFID for festivals and live events, July 2014.The company provides Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) services to some of the world’s largest festivals, events and brands and has introduced the paper at a time that they describe as ‘the tipping point for RFID technology’.Intellitix CRO, Eric Janssen explains: “This year has seen a huge increase in events making the leap with RFID, be that for access control, brand activation or to go fully cashless. The benefits are being recognized globally: faster queues, an overall better fan experience, a substantial boost in spend on site, as well as the ability to better engage with audiences and amplify sponsorship.“However, many organizers still have many questions. Implementing this technology at an event requires not just a change in their mindset, but in those of their customers as well.“We’ve launched the ‘Four step process to assess if RFID is right for your event paper to give an honest insight into what needs to be considered when integrating this technology, and what needs to be done to make it a success.”This year Intellitix has experienced a significant increase in events using RFID to go fully cashless, with its IntelliPay system being used at the first fully cashless event in North America, Mysteryland, the first fully cashless event in Canada, Digital Dreams and Majales festival in the Czech Republic which also featured social media activation and access control.Download the white paper on the 4-step process to integrating RFID technology.]]>
