Intellitix is returning to Eurosonic Noorderslag this week, where Europe’s leading showcase event is expanding the range of RFID services on offer to music professionals. In addition to adopting an Intellitix access control system at all festival venues and at its main conference centre, delegates gain a new daily showcase diary service and can access free content and selected drinks.
The RFID experience starts on arrival when delegates will be issued a Dutchband RFID wristband. This is used to scan in and out of all festival venues, and will also feature a complimentary coffee and virtual drinks tokens. Delegates will also be able to request any content and presentations that accompany panel sessions by swiping their wristband at one of the Live Click Stations in each room. Content is then emailed to them instantly.
A major development this year, Intellitix is launching a new piece of festival technology, powered by music streaming service Deezer. Where Was I Last Night? is a daily summary of each delegate’s evening with personalized content and contact details for every artist they saw. While this service is being used as an A&R tool at Eurosonic Noorderslag, the application allows festival fans to create a truly personal record of their experience. This type of service could well be rolled out at festivals this summer – watch this space!
