Rock ’n Roll Wine and MGM Resorts’ highly anticipated ninth annual Wine Amplified Festival went fully cashless for the first time this year.

Following in the footsteps of Taste Festivals, Wine Amplified became the latest food and drink festival to reap the rewards of cashless payments. Intellitix’s IntelliPay cashless payment system ensured patrons could sip and sample over 200 wines and 20 craft beers, simply, securely and quickly.

141103_wine_amplified_4Visitors conveniently loaded their RFID wristbands with ‘Festival Bucks’ before, or during the event at any of the top-up stations and were able to transact at the tasting stations and cashless transaction terminals located throughout the site.

Wine AmplifiedIt was time to raise a glass at Wine Amplified as Intellitix celebrated the first anniversary of IntelliPay. The system has proven its reliability in 2014, having been embraced by more than 1,500,000 people to date – from international sports fans at the Ryder Cup in Scotland, to music fans at MysteryLand, Electric Zoo and TomorrowWorld in the U.S., Bud Light Digital Dreams Fest in Toronto, Squamish Valley Music Festival in BC, Piknic Éléctronique in Montreal, and several festivals throughout Europe.
