This generated an amazing online audience of over 2 million. In addition, Intellitix’s RFID wristband technology provided secure and rapid access control and a cashless bar that utilised RFID wristbands preloaded with drink tokens. Intellitix’s chief information officer, Greg Parmley, was at the event to collect the award on behalf of the company, which was presented by The Gadget Show’s Jon Bentley. Best Use of RFID and Wireless Technology is one of the most important categories and Intellitix beat ten other nominees in order to win the accolade. “It’s fantastic to be recognized as the most innovative RFID company in the very first year of the awards,” says Parmley. “There wasn’t a chance to thank anyone on the night itself, but if there had been, ID&C would certainly have got a mention, as would Steve Machin at Stormcrowd who we worked closely with on the Adidas project, as well as former colleague Steve Jenner who also worked on the project.” Earlier this week, the company collected a Gold Prize Award in the Best Technology category at the International Sports Event Management Awards.]]>
