Intellitix will be speaking on two panels at South by Southwest (SXSW), the music, film and technology conference held in Austin, Texas on March 13-22, 2015.
The conference, which has been running since 1987, sees over 70,000 registrants and artists in attendance and aims to create an environment for the industry to share ideas and innovations.
Over the years it has seen plenty of game-changing moments, including being home to the launch of location-based social network Foursquare and the signing of ‘MMMBop stars’ Hansen in 1995. It’s definitely an eclectic mix!
Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at 2pm: Intellitix CRO, Eric Janssen, will join a roundtable of experts for ‘Backyard Chat: Festival 2020’ to discuss how technology is changing the live music experience of the future. From on-site enhancements like RFID, NFC, and cashless payments, to post-genre line-ups and enhanced live-streaming, the line between live and virtual experiences are blurring for fans and performers alike.
Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at 5pm: Intellitix CEO and Head Pilot, Serge Grimaux, takes the floor for ‘The Future of Event Tech’ to discuss fans’ expectations for a connected event, and how mobile ticketing, social media promotion, and live web streaming has become more prevalent. Serge joins a panel of industry innovators that will present the results of The Connected Festival Report™, researched and compiled by Kaffeine Buzz editor, and panel moderator, Kim Owens.
